Attorneys in the firm have significant experience in a wide variety of legal issues affecting local governments, including land use, zoning, annexation, urban renewal, personnel, elections, home rule, open meetings, budget and finance, TABOR issues, public records, sales, use, and other taxes, liquor licensing, public contracting, and federal and state issues affecting local governments.
The firm’s local government attorneys provide general and special counsel services to municipalities and other local governments and work closely with their governing bodies, elected and appointed officials, staffs, and constituent and/or affiliated entities, such as planning commissions, boards of adjustment, liquors boards, urban renewal authorities and other groups.
